Inextricable Connections

Perhaps the greatest gift of committing to a spiritual path is the growth we experience in relationship. It's also one of the greatest challenges. Because each brings unique traits and perspectives, we'll never see things in exactly the same way. One person's "dealing with reality" is another's "wallowing in negativity." Our approaches to the same situation can be wildly divergent. Sometimes those differences will feel expansive and refreshing. Sometimes they'll chafe.
 
Either way, differences and disagreements can be a gift, provided all parties strive to remember the Divine within is greater than any condition. 
 
Brene Brown says it this way: "...we are all inextricably connected to each other by a power greater than all of us, and our connection to that power and to one another is grounded in love and compassion."
 
The more effectively we master that in our relationships, the more powerfully we support its expression in the world.
