Spirit in Every Storm

Our incredibly talented musician, Danny Bauer, was featured on ABC News and in the Chicago Tribune this week after his band, Sneezy Music, found themselves stranded at a venue in Asheville, NC, due to Hurricane Helene. Rather than wait it out, they turned the situation into an opportunity for service, helping to set up an impromptu food kitchen that fed many of those stranded by the storm.  Read the Trib story here; and view the ABC coverage here. 

This is a powerful example of spirit at work in all aspects of life. It reminds us of the strength we gain when we affirm our capacity to overcome challenges, the purpose found in doing all we can with what we have, wherever we are, and the protection that comes when we trust in divine order to guide our steps.

These principles don’t just apply in times of crisis. When we open our eyes, we see opportunities to live them out every day. May you find your own moments of heroism today.
