Many of us have been taught to see the divine as distant, something to reach for. But spiritual awakening reveals a deeper truth—the divine is not outside us; it is who we are. When we shift our awareness, we tap into an infinite power already flowing through us.

Faith nurtures this truth. Like Peter walking on water, we move freely when we trust in divine presence, but sink when we focus on fear. As we grow in faith, Spirit expresses more fully through us, shining in our actions, our service, and our love.

This week, affirm: "Gentle Spirit, flow through me. Gentle Spirit, grow in me. Gentle Spirit, show as me. Gentle Spirit, no me." These lyrics, written by Rev. Sky St. John, play on the word “no,” which seems like a misspelling of “know.” But Sky was delighted by this wordplay—the phrase isn't about intellectual knowing but about transcending ego-driven impulses and living purely from the divine essence of our being.
