We are powerful creators, divinely connected to one another and to the universe. Despite daunting evidence to the contrary, we are united in ways that go beyond what the world might suggest. Our actions, choices, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs have a far greater impact than we realize.
In "Atom-Smashing Power of Mind," Unity co-founder Charles Fillmore writes, "No person ever demonstrated his God-given powers in even a small way but what he helped others to do the same."
I've seen this spiritual principle in action many times. Faith-filled prayers at a hospital bed can lead to miraculous healing. A child's joy can bring hope to a sad heart. A stranger's act of kindness can halt an injustice. These are just some of the blessings we can see. I believe even greater things happen when we take a moment to notice the many ways we bless and are blessed by each other.
So pause right now. Take a deep breath. Think back on your day and find a moment that was a blessing you hadn't noticed before. Savor it for a moment, then say, "Thank you, Spirit." More good has been done than you can imagine.
Smile. The cosmic camera is rolling.
